Curatorial Description
In Trama Dorada , ORENDAIN articulates a work that functions as a visual architecture of the invisible. The composition, supported by a light yellow base that radiates serenity, is interrupted by a complex network of chromatic layers that oscillate between the earthy, the metallic, and the structural. Over this network, blocks of absolute black and flashes of gold leaf erupt forcefully, marking nodes of tension and energetic concentration.
The painting suggests an abstract cartography, as if it were a suspended city or a symbolic fabric where each fragment contains memory, vibration, and rhythm. The swift, jerky strokes evoke modern ruins, encrypted codes, or architectural plans eroded by time. There is a constant tension between the rational and the chaotic, between geometric calculation and material freedom.
Gold leaf appears here not only as a symbol of sacredness, but as a texture that disrupts the pictorial logic: it interrupts and at the same time organizes. It is a trapped light, a spiritual coordinate within a fragmented structure.
Golden Plot can be read as a diagram of the spirit, a network of connections between the material and the transcendent, where the painting ceases to be a surface to become a map, a structure, a search.
