Curatorial Description
"Architecture of Silence" proposes a visual meditation on balance, emptiness, and contemplation. With a composition of pure geometry, ORENDAIN constructs a symbolic structure that seems to contain, more than forms, atmospheres of silence.
The chromatic blocks—black, ochre red, off-white, and gold—converse without stridency. Each color occupies its space with rigor and pause, generating a contained tension reminiscent of the spiritual architecture of minimalist temples or abstract altarpieces. The gold leaf, intervened with a tactile texture, acts as a sacred plane that interrupts the rigidity of the geometric system with a luminous and intangible dimension.
The black rhombus, suspended between white and gold, becomes a vertex of balance and contemplation. As in ORENDAIN's works, the material intersects with the symbolic: the surface becomes a portal, the color a contained voice.
This piece evokes an imaginary architecture, inhabited not by bodies but by presences. It is a noiseless space, where each form contains its own time.
